Five Star Auto Care to Sponsor 2008 “Hot Chili & Cool Cars”

15th Annual Event to Feature Food, Classic Cars and Fun for Entire Family

ROCKLIN – Five Star Auto Care, a one-stop shop for comprehensive auto service, will be a Title Sponsor for the 15th annual “Hot Chili & Cool Cars,” which will take place this September in Rocklin.

This is the third consecutive year that Five Star Auto Care has served as a Title Sponsor.

The event, one of the largest of the year in Rocklin and presented by the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce, features dozens of competitors offering hot chili, hundreds of classic cars and a wide variety of entertainment, from music to activities for kids.

In addition to a chili cook-off and classic car contest, the event will feature a variety of vendors, live entertainment, crafts and kids’ activities. Last year, more than 200 classic car owners and two dozen chili cooks attended the event, along with an estimated 10,000 people.

“Five Star Auto Care consistently gives back to the community, supporting our schools and the vitality of the business community,” said Robin Trimble, CEO of the Rocklin Chamber. “We appreciate their continued support of this community event.”

The event occurs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, rain or shine. The cars, chili booths and vendors will line Pacific Street between Rocklin Road and Midas Avenue.
